ABOUT: Tomes + Tulips

IMG-7049_edited.jpg

Welcome to the friends and family who have inspired this blog! For those of you who don't know my writing style, I apologize in advance. In this blog you will learn that my love for books does not equate to a love or even knowledge of the English language and the grammar that accompanies it.

That said, this blog has come to fruition through the desire to share my interests with others and the inquisitiveness of those in my life wanting to know what I've been reading. Like a tulip that blossoms in the spring, this blog too has sprouted out of the ground during Spring 2020, though the bulb was planted long ago.

This blog recounts the books I've read since 2018, along with a short review or lesson learned from each. I beg you to take evaluations with a grain of salt, as I am not a book critic. They are my personal takeaways from each tome, and I mean no harm to those who disagree with my assessments.

Happy Reading! Catherine
